Nice lifting despite the off day. I have found that some of my best lifting comes either after a deload, or right after I've ended a lousy lifting day prematurely ... thereby getting in a little extra recovery. That's my way of agreeing with Uncle Al. Heh.
Good stuff in here and good music too.
If you need the deload, nothing wrong with taking a break. Most usually come back stronger
It's funny how lifting can sometimes clue one in on the fact that he or she is getting sick before the otherwise perceptible symptoms start to manifest. Hopefully, it's a bug your immune system kills off quickly. If not, just keep eating and resting.Thanks guys. I was feeling good all day yesterday and I'm sicker than a dog today. Probably explains the meh session on Tues. Today I'm resting, napping and doing nothing.
I find that excessive amounts of food help kill ill feelings and "meh-ness"
