It wasn't on purpose really. I (clears throat) my wife did want it shorter. She pretty much made the threat of not being allowed to touch her if I didn't trim it. There was a miscommunication with my barber so; we start over.

Comp Squat-
1x10 @ bar
2x5 @ 135LBS
1X3 @ 225LBS
1X3 @ 315LBS
Drop-
4x3 @ 285LBS Right anterior hip was fucking up by this point, tried to get it opened back up and released but didn't have much success...
Sumo block pulls-
2x3 @ 135LBS
2x1 @ 225LBS
Attempted to pull 335LBS and couldn't get it. Hip was too painful, pain aside I wasn't strong enough to get it up today... Think my body is still trying to get back in the swing of things.
Split squats-
5x7 @ body weight.

Good work man, howd you hurt the hip? Been dealing with a hip issue for the last year or so myself. recently realized that my TFL is super tight which was causing really bad IT band and hip pain. Not sure where your pain is but def something to look into.

Didn't really injure it, think it's just too tight from the long deload and multiple days with deadlifts and/or squats in one week irritated it. It'll be fine soon enough. I do a fair amount of mobility each night before bed just stretching and opening up my hips.

I need to look up some hup mobility stuff. It's hard for me to get depth on my squats. Hope ur irritations clear up quick brother.
