Do you mean you're catching the clean in the power position, standing up with it, and than front squatting the weight? That's a common combination for Oly lifters. You can also clean the weight, front squat it multiple times, and than either jerk it or press it overhead.

Yep, exactly. Coming from bodybuilding, I'm still working on the jerk and split jerk.

The split jerk is much easier to perform than a power or squat jerk.

Today was leg day #1. 5 Giant sets of leg press/stuff leg deads/seated calf followed by 5 giant sets of leg press/seated leg curl/seated calf. Finished off with 5 one minute spin bike sprints/15 leg raises super set.

LOL.

I gotta admit I was never a split jerker. I always performed power jerks. Those with very strong legs will find it easier to power jerk a weight. Just don't try to squat jerk it unless you have incredible balance and seriously flexible shoulders.

Today was pull day so conventional deadlifts, good mornings, and some bicep curls. Quick in and out.

Deadlifts. Then pull ups. Maybe arms just to a pump.
