    Yeah I'm thinking of competing in it Turbo, will be my first 100km race and an insanely tough one to boot. Only concern is it's a 16.5hr cutoff and I only have 6 months to train for it.

    NUTRITION FROM THURSDAY 25th JUNE

    FLUID INTAKE

    1.5l water
    3 x cups green tea


    BREAKFAST
    Muesli, 1 x banana, 1 x mango,1 x tbsp pea protein, coconut/almond milk

    LATE MORNING
    Coffee • Long black
    2 x tsp coconut oil

    LUNCH
    Salad w baby spinach, lettuce, kale, carrot, capsicum & 1/2 squeezed lemon
    Vege sushi & seaweed

    Trail mix
    1 x tsp coconut oil


    DINNER
    Vegan quaesadilla w salsa & jalapeno's

    I once was a Runner, well a Spinter.. Anything over 400m and I was toasted...lol Was pretty good too.

    Thanks Ramod, that picture made me laugh. I hear you... sprinting is tough work !! My speed sessions are always so much harder than my long runs.

    Looking forward to getting to the gym again tonight and having some free time, we have had a relative staying with us since Friday and she flies back home today. Entertaining can be draining !!

    Time to get serious, slow down the beer consumption and venture into the wild to get some km's into my legs again.

    Entries have been opened up to past competitors of the St James Ultra with a 10% discount, man I am really eyeing up the 100km race. Think I will enter this week ~ just bought myself a Suunto Ambit3 which I'm hoping will be a motivator to hit the trails. Just have to decide whether I want the blue or the black [​IMG]

    Training for the 100km is on. Let the fun begin!

    Ran a nice, relaxed and very un-fast 12km this morning. I just enjoyed the sunshine and being unconnected from everything for an hour... very satisfying :)
