Day 52 of CBL Round 2
287 lbs (-11 lbs)

Dude spotting me touched the bar on the way up, boosting it like three inches for no reason. Barked at him like an asshole - the rest of the session was tense and wack. Should've never listened to the people around me to jump from the board presses and go for the PR. Fuxking garbage.

Dude what the heck were you thinking? 83 90 and 96 percent then overload with a board press and then shoot for a PR? Tell the morons around you that your PR'S come when they are due. There is no need to rush a PR. Keep your head on GA you are doing well. Shit like that is when you tear a pec strain the Tricep etc....

In retrospect, I agree....
My reasoning at the time was based on a few things. 365 wasn't shit. It flew up like it was nothing. 405 off the board flew up too. 385 off the board went up like "Bam, Bam". I was feeling really strong and was about to hit 425 off the board for a single and.... Ego got in my way. Been wanting that number for so long, my thirst was too much.

I could've gotten it if I just went 365, 405.
I could've gotten the 425 off the board, too. It was fuxked all around tonight.

In the end, I was the moron succumbing to peer pressure and trusting someone who doesn't trust themselves (my homeboy who spotted me).

Bump your goal from 405 to 415.

Word - sounds like a good idea.

Sick poundage but crazy. Sorry to hear it was a mentally tough day, glad nothing bad happened. You are strong as a ox!

Thanks 5. I never had a fear of getting hurt with that, nor was I even close to tired. All the board work felt easy as well as the working sets. Unracking 405 was so damn easy. You know when you have to center the bar while you're laying under it? It moved like it was nothing....

I've watched the video a thousand times already... My dude just pushed the bar up for no reason and I yelled at him mid-rep. The whole gym was staring at me and I was bright red, wearing a red shirt, looking like an asshole. He kept repeating "I thought it was going down. I thought it was going down..."

Its ok brother. It happens to us all.

Everything that happened can be repaired.

You always do the max effort and you leave nothing. It is really impressive what you do. It makes all of us want to be better.

Your workout is like staring up Mt. Everest.

Recover and move forward.

289 lbs (-9 lbs)

Had my program max set at 550.... Pfffffffffffffffff

Rocked with my boy via text as he coached me through the progression and just stayed with the conventional pull because it felt stronger than ever. Worked out well for me. 600 was prob my true 96%...

495 was a conventional PR. 525 was an all time PR. The rest was Shinobi Bonus Stage Mode!

Feel like a million.
