Only did 2 reps on first CAT set cuz I forgot to put the clip on the one side and I could feel the plates moving around lol. In the vid you can see the red clip on the rack by the plates.

Phone died so I only got 1 of the pause squat sets.

Tough call on the second rep. Might have regained control but better a little help than it wind up in your lap.

Yup exactly. ECB knows me well and I trust that dude with my life. I'll never get mad or second guess him grabbing it too soon.

haha. If I see the bar dip, I am grabbing that shit, especially with nearly 5 bills on there.

I might have missed it somewhere, but do you take extended rest periods like a week off at all? I imagine with the amount of weight you move, your body/CNS could use a break from time to time lol.

I usually go 3 weeks hard, then do a deload week. Usually during that week it's very light and typically won't even touch a barbell. That's my setup when I'm in meet prep, like now. When I'm farther away from a meet, and the weights aren't as heavy, I may go longer without a deload.

Lol shut up. I'm in a fois grais hangover aka I've been too lazy to edit and splice my videos. Once my wife brings me home my chorizo and egg burrito, I'll have enough fuel to get it done.

There's no need to splice them. There is only 1 set that matters..lol
