TikTok is not just a social media platform. It's actual malware. It's a keylogger and a data logger. It does these things outside of use of the application.I understand that I'm not under any disillusion but what I'm saying is what are they spying on? That's my point is companies here already track us, follow us, listen to us, etc etc
Now yes I understand it's Chinese government versus US government but honestly is there a difference now? Or being spied on and told what to do we have no freedoms or we're losing all our freedoms quickly.
Do they think the Chinese government is going to overtake us because Americans are stupid and put tide pods in their mouths and then recorded and posted online? What is the end game on the Chinese government side for stupid citizens that live on this app
All Chinese companies are infiltrated by CCP policies to the benefit of the party. I refuse to buy anything made in China...use the Cultivate add-on to know where things are made and find cheaper alternatives to "made in China" such as Vietnam and India.TikTok is not just a social media platform. The fact that it's allowed on any of the app stores is an indictment on the CCP influence on both Google and Apple as those things are against the policies to be allowed in either of their stores.
I think a full ban on all Chinese software and heavy restrictions on Chinese manufacturing should have been done decades ago.
Opening up trade with China is possibly the worst mistake in American history.
Let's be real here. The ban has little to do with the govt concern for security. FB, IG, Twitter, Google, etc collects all of the same data and sells it to China. It has more to be do with the fact that TT is the absolutely most effective sharing platform in history. You can't completely control a narrative and agenda with a 'town center' like TT in operation.
I actually appreciate tik tok they put a huge dent in fake book insta sham and gaggle. I don't have any social media but have taken a lot of pleasure seeing the other platforms drop tens of thousands of jobs and millions of users.Let's be real here.
