Nice work monsoon. Pretty cool of you to post the missed lifts, you don't see many people do that. I respect that. I actually like when I can catch one of my misses on video to show people that there's more to it than getting all of your lifts, failure can be success in this lifestyle. Keep on trucking bro, good sets.
Seven sets of squats is a killer even with a light weight. The bench is easy, hell I get to lay down. The pull ups are killing my elbows but its only half as many as last time so I'm not bitching. I did the db rows because of the recent thread on them. I usually just do 75s in between sets of bench.
I am ridiculously sore. I guess from Saturdays squats. I have that upside down U thing on my hams, adducters and glutes. It made today's run resemble a mall walk.
Today's run, short maybe a little over two miles. Slow, see complaints above.
I am blessed to have a great place to run. Just behind my house I can access a wash that leads to a canal system that has maintenance roads/trails alongside that basically stretch for endless miles throat the state. It's a beautiful place to run and peaceful. A lot of times I encounter few if any other humans and lots of wild life. Because of the plentiful fish, rabbits, etc. there are huge hawks and other birds of prey hunting in the area. So today, I am running along, head elsewhere when I realize that I am face to face with a good size coyote. We both stopped and looked at each other, trying to decide who had the right of way. Finally, he made a hard left and disappeared behind a block wall. I ran on, a little faster.
I ran into a coyote once. You're supposed to try and scare and intimidate them and they will run away. So I hit a side chest and then a lat spread and it ran away. .
