yeah, the hope the knee gets better. I found that I have to warm-up doing regular squats before doing pause squats.
so maybe something like this next time?

Pause squat:

I do a few other warm-up stuff too, bodyweight squats, a couple-few sets with the bar.
It could have just been an isolated thing too.
