I've found over the past couple of years the belt doesn't add much.

Maybe cause I'm such a fat bastard I dunno.

Didn't train yesterday because I got no sleep Wednesday night. Up till 3am with a sore elbow/forearm driving me nuts. Wasn't going to go to the gym on 90 minutes of sleep.

Did squats today and they started out rough but I forced myself to attempt 6 plates. It was a bit shaky but I was reasonably happy after watching the vid. Depth looked good to me.

Last deadlift session before the comp. Got up to 565 without issue then hit a wall. Could not pull 585 to save my life, even with reverse green bands.

I think I will open with 550 and then pull 575 on Saturday and that may be about it......
