Did back/traps/biceps today.

9 sets of pulldowns, 9 sets of seated cable rows, 5 sets each of shrugs on the calf machine supersetted with seated preacher curl machine (HS plate loaded).

What are you a bodybuilder now?

Nope; still a fat wannabe powerlifter but my arms fucking shrunk while I was recovering and the narcissist in me wants them pumped back up.

I'll be doing deadlifts tomorrow.

Mrs Flex came back to the gym today too and that made me happy. :)

She couldn't train during my hiatus because she doesn't drive. Not sure why she didn't come back 2 weeks ago when I started but she's back in the game as of today so that's good news.

Arms are a funny thing, many years ago when my focus was on oly lifting for a while I did no direct biceps or triceps work on purpose because my bis were in the way. It seemed to have a lasting effect of lengthening them so now I will never have a bodybuilder arm. Not that I do any bi work now either. But, it does make my puny tricep stand out more.

Why doesn't the Mrs. Drive? It's not like you can keep the wheels on the road.

She just never got her license. I think she tried and failed when she was young then just gave up. She went to driving school a few years ago and was supposed to (finally) take her driving test last year but she chickened out last minute and now her learner's permit has expired so she will have to start all over again...
