Last Wednesday I benched. I worked up to 3 sets of 5 @ 305. I then did some flat bench football bar rep work. I worked up to 2 sets of 8 @ 225. I did 4 sets of hammer curls and was done.

Today was squat day in our 43 degree gym. Kid Portugal and PillarofBalance could not make it to the gym today. Apparently their cycles linked up and we're both ragging it hard, so while they were home tending to their vaginas I squatted.

Squat regular bar
I worked up to a triple with 335 and then a double with 345. I then did 3 back off sets of 2 with 315.

my flow was so heavy i had to tape together a bunch of Q-tips

Bench day

I benched yesterday with PillarofBalance. DieYoungStrong was squatting there too. Why does he not have a journal? He needs one. I think it is because he is shy.

I have been having left elbow issues. I was supposed to do 3 sets of 5 with 310, but I realized that I better toss 3 plates on the bar or DYS and POB were going to chit on me. So I did. I worked up to a set of 315 x 5, then on my second set my elbow was really hurting. So I stopped on my chest and made POB lift the weight off of me.

Next, we did reverse hyper hammer curls.

2 sets of 10 with 50lbs.

Then a chit ton of curls

Floor press with football bar. A bunch of sets with a plate and a bunch of chains on the bar.

Stiff leg dead lifts on the belt squat machine.

Done.

A couple revelations were had.

1) I need to warm up better

2) I think my squat sucks because I am a pussy. I don't think I ever learned to grind out reps with the squat. I am going to fix this. So every journal entry until my squat surpasses my bench I am going to write I am a pussy.

Yep. This whole thing isn't going how I planned it, but fuk ite. Until my squat surpasses my bench I must keep referring to myself as a pussy in every journal entry.

The 435 x 3 went up okay so I thought I should take a shot at 445 x 3. I couldn't budge the bar. I think I was just exhausted
