Every time I see Kamala's name I think of the WWE wrestler, KAMALA! The great big bohemian from about 30 yrs ago. Had a bone in his nose .

I grew up thinking we as a society have advanced beyond the tribal mindset but we really haven't evolved all that much.

This is why I believe the human race is ultimately doomed. If every modern difference between all people alive were to suddenly disappear tomorrow, no more different races, no more different countries, different sexualities, diets, ideologies, etc.. everybody had the same amount of resources, if all people were a homogenous group... By the following day everybody will have found another reason to fight and kill each other.

Look at countries like Israel. They are 80% Jewish.. fighting each other over differences. There are protests ongoing now.

Muslim countries killing each other over a difference between who is the so called rightful heir to Muhammad.

Look at medieval Europe. Christians killing each other by the millions over what a certain passage in the Bible meant. Until Christianity developed into a thousand flavors. The savage history of Christianity should never be forgotten.

People killing each other because they think their country is the best country in the world.

People killing each other because this guy has more money. Or less money. Or brown skin. Or white skin. Or this or that guy likes to use his genitals on other consenting guys.

The human race will hopefully be wiped out at some point. Millions of years of savage evolutionary pressures cannot be subdued by high minded ideas.

I have a bumper sticker on my car "Giant Meteor 2024." People think I am being funny. But damn do I hope humanity gets wiped out. We do not deserve to exist.

We do not deserve to exist.

And we won't.
Our limited view of time on this earth created an illusion of permeance that we have always been here and always will be. Fact is, people have been around for a negligible amount of time. The entirety of human history doesn't register as even a blip when viewing the whole timeline of the universe we live in.

We have nowhere to go other than where we are now. We have no more resources other than what are already here. Bacteria on an agar plate will grow to a maximum size determined by the size of the container and available resources. It will continue to consume all of the available resources while creating toxic waste byproducts which, without intervention, leads to the inevitable death of the culture.

We are a spark that will grow to a maximum size before fading into nothing.

We could be spending the time in between making the best of the short time we do have but we are not there yet. Maybe we never will be.

Quite the opposite where I am at and the people I talk with. Around here the majority are believers and team trump.

I am in NC which shocks me that some of these country white boys are going for libs.
Their excuse? "I ain't voting for no rapist or convicted felon" so the mass propaganda has worked on some.
