Called It a day. I need a mono lift. Too much energy is used lifting weight taking 2 steps back and having to step out to do wide stance squats. Any suggestions would be appreciated. This was a PR day for me, I know with better equipment I would of gotten more. I am looking at a local meet in march or april and not really sure what to do for prep except smash plates. Anyone who has done a meet let me know.

Great job brother told you the belt and such were going to make big gains possible 640 is monster!!!! I'm with you walking big weights around to get set are a fucking tragedy waiting to happen. My reconstructed right knee is in fear of a buckle from it so bad.... Way to go though, awesome numbers and don't be bummed about an occasional deviation from F & D in my opinion it works better having them, you know when you feel strong and sometimes it's important to see where that goes. Then it's back to the plan!

640! awesome job. that is a lot of weight!!!!! great job. good luck with finding a monolift, that would be awesome to have when lifting that much!

Killed it today on core. Trainer made me feel like a total wimp! Never know core work would be so rough. Was gonna knock out deads today but that isn't gonna happen. Called it a day and will hit them tomorrow

i dont even want to imagine how horrible a time i would have if i had a someone telling me what to do for my core! im not very good at following directions :eek: and it dang sure sounds like hard work!

Lol! I hear u! He had me doing 1 leg squats holding for 5 secs at the bottom while holding weight above my head. I kept asking are u kidding. Why is this killing me? He just kept laughing.

Yeah, I can't do any crazy shit like that I think I just died a little reading it LOL... You kill that core madman!!! I can't wait to hear about it!

man smashing 640 for 2 reps got me feeling small brah :D great work smashing some heavy weight.

do you have another person to work out with? if so unrack the weight, have your buddy move the power rack forward a foot, do your reps, then step forward and rack it. you still have to step up and rerack but this would work until you got a monolift or found some other way to save that 2 steps back

Yeah thought of everything! Unfortunately it's just me. I had a spotter but I think I am gonna have 2 next time to pull the pegs and then drop it! Will see in a few weeks

640lbs is a SICK squat!!! Congrats. How much do you think the monolift added to your squat? You may just convince me to go to Curtis's on my heavy leg day so I can use his.
