Reminds me of a story Mike Matarazzo told at a seminar I attended back in around 1995. He was telling the story of when he first started training and wanted to pack on as much size as possible. He used to work out his meals for the day and no matter what he would eat every last mouthful. He would lay each meal out on the table in front of him, eat as much as he could get down, then when he couldn't eat anymore, whatever was left went in the blender with apple juice. Steak, spaghetti, whatever. Love hardcore eating stories.

I'm kinda down with that, think I need to get a food processor, don't want that in my shake blender LOL... Chicken always gets so damn dry I think a sweet potato would be perfect! Dash of hot sauce and I'm good!

Yes halo, i pre cook everything in bulk so the problem is it dries out no matter what i do. Hence my blended meal idea.

My carbs are either brown rice or sweet potatoes and I do the same thing I'll cook up about 12-14 meals I usually cook the meat rare so when it hits the microwave it gets reasonable not rubber. I put the meat over the rice so the juices get on the rice and then I'll usually add a bit of water when heating to kind of rehydrate and steam the rice up a bit about 40 seconds in the microwave. I'm definitely giving the blender a shot.

here is another trick. Vaccum seal the meals and freeze half so they stay extra fresh. then cut a small slit an microwave it while frozen, it steams the meal so its more moist. nothing beats fresh cooked though. Being diet time, i dont really care as long as i can get the meal in hence my blender idea. i need to take some damn cooking classes as much as this sport involves eating.
