So lowering my maxes probably was wise. Everything seemed managable tonite. I do need to work on technique left hip was tight and sore. I don't know if it's a warm up issue but definitely sore. Otherwise the only reps I missed was BW pull-ups. Fat kid isn't that strong yet. But I did it without any assistance. In time.

Nice job getting them bw pullups in! it's hard to struggle but in 6 months it will be a thing of the past. Very nice squatting, very strong!!!

Good stuff, in particular, the 12 reps of paused squats (don't care what the weight is) takes a lot of mental discipline as well as strength. man!

Looks like you did well in there Hawk. Great squatting, I'm with Chris, those pause squats sound tough.

Guys, you are 100% correct, pause squats blow!!!! lol. But what challenges me only makes me stronger and makes me want to "climb that mountain" more. I'm going to keep critiquing my form and technique and work on the Agile 8 program for mobility so hopefully the hip issue becomes less of a problem. And yes, 5.0, those pull ups were a bitch. LOL. I'm still 265 and I am cleaning up the diet. But I soon hope to rip those bad boys out like a machine. Someday I will have a back like Bull. For now, its nose to the grindstone and do the work.

Read up on that just now and sounds great. I do the first 3 before every workout as is, but the others is good money. Pretty sure my whole squad will follow suit too... Just makes sense.

Put the Supple Leopard book in my phone as well because that's the next step... Being a big ninja.

And I hit 2 wide-grip pull-ups the other day... Boom!
