Wagu or grass fed patties from Costco recently… we got the wagu and man was it good! Lots of flames from ther ol bbq… but definitely worth the cost

Usually toss in some burger seasonings , smoke flavoring, or something and sometimes shreded cheese when we make the patties…

I love the Costco grass fed patties. I always grill up a bunch for the week. When I heat them up I put a big slab of the grass fed butter from Costco on top. Then throw a bunch of sweet heat pickle slices on it and eat them just like that.

Dont forget the classic sloppy joe, you can make it without a ton of added sugar if you need to as well and it is still delicious.

  • Onion
  • 90/10 Ground beef
  • garlic cloves or minced garlic in water
  • onion powder
  • paprika
  • Additional garlic powder to taste
  • ground mustard (I use a squirt of the yellow stuff sometimes too)
  • chili powder
  • tomato paste
  • ketchup
  • Worcestershire sauce
Add any water you may need if they become too thick or dry.

I usually make meatballs with ground beef. Add in some cajun seasoning, some extra sharp cheddar and some diced jalapenos

I get the leanest ground beef I can find, about 3 lbs. Cook it in a big pot until brown, drain water and fat, chop it up with a spatula so it's not clumpy.

Pour 3 jars of tomato sauce into it. I experiment with different brands, but classico is the go to cheap one.

Let is simmer a while and mix, season to taste, serve over spaghetti. Spaghetti and meat sauce for days.
This one sounds right up my alley

Yeah it's simple af and one of my family's favorites. It always gets eaten.

I used to make it with those frozen meatballs, but I realized they are crossing into the overprocessed meat spectrum (i.e. not much healthier than hot dogs).

My favorite meat to do this with is actually ground venison.

I've switched to ground turkey for a lot of these types of things, or ground turkey/ground beef and while different (the one with a small % ground beef is far less noticeable) I kind of enjoy it in its own way.

Yeah I kinda like the ground turkey for some things as well. My wife makes some really good meatballs with ground turkey.

Make jasmine rice with chicken bone broth (must be bone broth..protein 5-10x that of “regular” broth) along with a generous portion of butter. The butter is important for the next step.

Pan fry the rice until crispy on all sides or as close as possible. Set aside to cool for a while.

Mix ground beef with diced onion, an egg per pound, whatever seasonings you desire and as much Parmesan as you think is necessary. Finally add the fried rice as your gluten free bread crumb substitute, form into meatballs, and bake at 400° until crispy brown on the edges.

It’s a standalone meal covering all macros, it’s gut friendly (gluten free, bone broth, etc), and it’s damn delicious. I eat them hot right out of the oven, and then the leftovers I eat cold and either way, it's good to go.
Sounds damn good. Gonna try it this week

I try to stay closer to "carnivore" than "keto", but I'm fond of making hamburger burritos. I found some keto burrito wraps that are 2g of carbs each. Another 2g in the taco sauce powder, some cheese, and I'm good to go.

The other thing is what my wife calls "pizza plate". Fry the hamburger, spread it on a plate, add a small amount of marinara sauce, then mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, layer with pepperoni. You have to be careful with pepperoni; some brands have more carbs than you'd expect. Nuke it for a minute or two to melt the cheese, eat with a fork.
