I know for a fact Knowshawn Moreno, running back for the Denver Broncos, does.
Also Justin Verlander, John Wall, Chad Ochocinco and Roddy White have all incorporated
crossfit into their routines.

I posted two vids of crossfit athletes doing strength exercises with very heavy weight.
My point with that was they do strength at a very high level as well.

This will be the workout Monday

500m Row
100 Double Unders (jump rope 2 x around with 1 jump)

30 Box Jumps (24" box - standing all the way up)
50 Goblet Squats
100 Double Unders

For Time

Fundamental / Skill / Strength:

Back Squat: 2 – 2 – 3 – 3 – 5 – 5; end at heaviest 5 rep possible

As you can see, the strength exercise for this day is rather limited,
that's why I've been adding in my own strength/hypertrophy workouts.

Two things.

1 Knowshawn Moreno is not a body builder or power lifter.

2 I ain't never seen no one get huge doing crossfit.

Most people would mistake NFL running backs for bodybuilders...
you do a lot of powerlifting/oly in crossfit.

Look at any of the pro crossfitters and tell me those guys aren't big.
THey aren't steroid bodybuilder big but they are huge to the average person.

When my coach started, he was 170 at 5"10, natty, still natty and 191 a few years later.
Most people would mistake him for a bodybuilder.

405 backsquat x 3
300 power clean x 3
200 strict press x 3
405 backsquat x 2
300 power clean x 2
200 strict press x 2
405 backsquat x 1
300 power clean x 1
200 strict press x 1

Then run a 6:15 minute mile
Total time was 10:52
