Four weeks out from my meet (August 9th), so I have three deadlift, bench, and squat sessions left. My plan is to go heavy for triples this week, four-ples next week, then hit my openers, and shut it down (a deload day on the Tuesday before my meet).

I've had a couple of solid weeks of lifting, and because of that, I'm going to just post the exercises without the weights. The reason is that in case there any potential competitors of mine taking a look at my log, I want to keep them guessing on my what my potential is ... heh. If that makes me paranoid, so be it. I'm hoping to place in the top 15-20% of the lifters.

Deadlifts
3 sets of heavy triples

Deficit Deadlifts
3 sets of 260x6 (standing on two plate high stacks)

DB Rows
3 sets of 75x6

Weighted Pull-Ups
Bodyweight for 14

Bench Press

Didn't really have a lot of energy today. Worked on some 3-rep with pause sets; glad to see that I was able to get up to 170. Next week, I'm going to do some 2-rep pause sets and hopefully hit 175 (would love to hit 180, but not expecting it).

Floor Presses
165x5 x4 sets (had a sixth rep on my third set after a generous break)

Chris-killing it. Where's the meet and which organization?
Flat Rock, Michigan (Woodhaven High School) and the organization is UPA. Meet is Saturday, August 9th.

I compete in UPA because it's geographically close to me and it's also put on by Detroit Barbell (who put on excellent meets) and APF/AAPF which has a meet in October that I'm thinking of competing.

Notes
Feeling pretty good. Had some lower back tightness, but grinded through the working sets I had planned. Just a little over 3 weeks til competition. Next week, I'll hit my deadlifts for 3 sets of 4, bench, 4 sets of 2 reps with pause, squats for 3 sets of 4 ... then following week, practice my openers.

Weight is holding pat at 125 and some change.

Good luck Chris!!! Progress is strong just mind that back.

Sucks SO MUCH to train then get hurt right before a meet (twice).

How you liking those glute ham raises? I find them brutal, but I am improving on them slowly (I only do them 1x/mo or so).

Doing awesome Chris. Tightness in the back always sucks. It's a least favorite thing of mine when training. How are you feeling about the comp?
