Squats looked natural turbo great work brother.

As for the deadlifts, I would suggest squeezing your should blades together before the lift, that way you pull yourself in real tight. I believe thats what the issue is as far as your back appearing to be rounded. It just looks like you're a little loose at the top. I hope that helps

05/27/2016 Bench Day: Wave 1, Week 6 Test Day

Back extensions, shoulder flies

Bench:

Bar X 2 X 15

95 X 5

125 X 5

155 X 5

180 X 3

210 X 3

240 X 2

270 X 1

285 X 1

315 X 1

335 X 0

Stick stretches and dislocates

335 was close, but I just didn't quite have it. So I'm thinking my actual max is 325.

I'm going to use 315 as my max now instead of 300. Also, I can substitute close grip and incline Dumbbells for something else, but not sure what I'm gonna do yet.

You're doing great, big guy. You'll get 335 soon for sure.

If you are failing at lockout, may I suggest pin presses? If it's more of a midway sticking point thing, try a few weeks of spoto presses or bench presses with a double pause (chest and sticking point). All three of these have helped me break through some tough barriers.

Thanks man! I'm gonna add in Spoto presses for an accessory this time. We'll see how it works.

05/29/2016 Bench Day Wave 1, Week 7, Light Day

Back extensions, shoulder flies

Bar X 2 X 15

95 X 5

125 X 5

155 X 8

190 X 5

220 X 5 sets X 3 reps

190 X 25

190 X 20

Spoto presses:

185 X 5

185 X 5

Wide grip bench (Index finger past the ring)

135 X 3 sets X 10 reps

Skull crushers:

40lbs X 12

50lbs X 10

60lbs X 8

70lbs X 6

80lbs X 5

Seated Arnold presses: 4 X 12

Dumbbell flies 4 x 10

Barbell rows: 135 X 4 X 10

So my plan with the Spoto presses and wide grip bench are to add 10 pounds to each movement every week up until my next test week. I've never done eithe done before so I wasn't sure where to start at. For Spoto presses I was thinking 3 sets X 5 reps, and for wide grip I was thinking 3 sets X 10 reps.

What do you think?

Did you have a lift off for that 335 or did you unrack it yourself? Unracking a weight really takes it out of you.
