Ditto on the "Im on this peptide and that peptide" and glp's are plastered all over the place. I get it if your really need it etc. Heck I look like ass right now but Im not going to take it. Not now nor after the holidays. Im going to eat and eat some more. My wife's side has a big family and gatherings. Unfortunately my Mom has been gone a long time and Pop is in his 90s so my side of the family will be small and probably only cheese and sausage tray stuff with deserts.

Oh man, I feel ya about the mom issue. I still have mine, she gets around fine, still drives and sharp as a whip at 81. She's the glue that has held all the pieces together and I'm going to miss her when her time is up.

We're becoming the next generation up brother. Gone are the Thanksgivings of sighting in the rifle for Mondays hunt, sitting around the table with 20 relatives after the local football game and just talking. I do count my blessing that my family is tight and located within driving distance.

My mom (and both grandmothers prior) were the glue, and now it's just not the same since they've all passed away. I've tried my hardest, but it's not the same...but I try, for my own kids. I hope they continue the tradition and make it great again. They are young, so I hope whoever they end up with, they can get it back in place like the past. I'm not even sure if they know what that is like though, sadly.

If your mom has any good food recipes.....HAVE her write them down now for ya!
