Congrats on the kiddo. I had mine at near 37, and 39, so I was.....not young either, haha. I still remember all thje dad's and mom's on the forums congratulating me and giving the "enjoy it while they are young" posts.......AND IT IS 100% TRUE!

You'll be fine brother, I was nervous as hell, but they just need attention, then support, and it turns out well. I am a father first though, tough on them, but then sprinkle in the friendly shit as we go, lol. I'd rather be a little too tough, than too weak as a "friend," and then they not value respect and stuff. There is a fine line in there, and i make mistakes, but I think everybody does. Just go back and talk to them, explain why they were in trouble, or that you were wrong and too hard, and they will get it and respect that. Then support them and tell them you love them daily. They just need to see that you are trying, and most of the time they will be understanding....hopefully. Their mom acts more as a friend than a parent, so I come off as the bad guy, which sucks, but if i don't, then they will get off path like all the other turd kids out there. I can expect some messing up and getting in trouble, but not a permanent path of trouble. At least while they are young and through teen years, which I have not got to yet.....[insert prayer emogi, lol].

Seriously you are one of .you favorite people on these boards. One day you need to download your memories to a Sim card like in the 6th day. I remember you being on like every forum back in the day. I don't think I ever seen a post from you where you were anything but a pure gentleman.

Once they reach about 3-5, it gets easier, at least in my experience. You always go back and wish they were 'that age again,' but there were some days/weeks during the first couple of years that I couldn't wait until they 'got a little older,' LOL!!!

Haha, Thanks, MG! That means a lot from you, and trust me, the feeling is mutual. When I think of these forums, going back to the day, your name is a for sure staple!

I've messed up quite a few times going to hard on people back in the day, but thankfully it all worked out most of those times. I just remember back in the MFW or early forum days, it was brutal back then, but people laughed and accepted it and got over it. I guess a few probably didn't, but it always seemed to respectfully work out. Then fast forward a few years into the 2000's, that same approach didn't work as well, but screw me, it was what I was used to, lol. I had to go back and do some apologizing and admitting I was too rough a few times I remember back in the MFW newsgroup days, all the top names from the magazines and early forum days posted there, and it was just so brutal, you had to have thick skin, and these were all the famous guys you read about in the magazines and stuff. I never posted on mfw, just read because i was a young and didn't want to look like a weak jackass, hahaha. When EF and all the other forums started, I was used to it, but when those forums started they all went through their new forum honeymoon stages, but at some point they also got brutal.....brutal, but respectful. Guys these days would never make it back in the day. I'm not saying that was better, I like being more mellowed-out now and having some fun and humor, so it is all good.

Besides i signed an agreement with @Lizard King that if i mess up here I get the bread game treatment....and that is a big no for me

I've forgotten so much. I learn a lot from guys like you remembering everything back in the day too. Up until just around the 10 years ago, if we forgot something, we could go back to whatever forum it happened on and look it up, or some posts to refresh our memories, but those forums are all gone now Things i never thought i'd forget, details especially, I find myself slipping on them now. It's like when I would ask my mom to tell me stuff about her childhood, and she would swear to me there was nothing else....but then a year later she would bust out new info I'd ask her why she didn't tell me about the other stuff when I asked her prior, and she'd tell me she forgot and it just popped into her head, lol. I guess it runs in the family now, lol.

After these next races, we are all taking a big break, but i'll be taking time to get myself back in shape. I trained 5 times this whole last year since Oct 2024, lol. Hit it once last Feb, then 4x in like Aug or Sept, I can't even remember I'm pathetic, and it's no wonder why @jipped genes abuses me with threesome sex orgies with retarded squirrels and 1-nut turtles over 65 years in age
