Don't think of it as heavy or light. You will press the 70% with the same energy or force as the 90%. It may not move as fast but you give every rep your all.

Next week do the deload and start.

Max reps is max effort so no. Don't do that.

Just do the program exactly as I described. Your bench will go up quite a bit.

Cool man I'll give it a shot.

Thanks for the advice.

For assistance movements I've been doing incline after bench.

Should I keep doing incline ? Or change it up and do dips one week then incline one week ?

On my second bench type day, can I sub like dynamic bench for floor presses some weeks? Like 5 sets of 20 @ 50% ?

Also, I definitely understand what you mean about moving 70% with full force and 80% the same way. You use all your force like you were benching your max but the weight is lighter.

POB makes a very good point every set should be a speed set in that you're moving it as quickly as you're able to. Press 135 with the same tenacity as you do 315.

Stop trying to change it. You are already floor pressing in the week. Just do the program as I typed it. As for triceps stick to extensions like skull crushers, JM Press (which is mostly extension).

Yes sir, sorry sir.

5-7 reps on floor press, so just 1 working set up to that rep range? Not sure how heavy to go.

I'm sposed to bench tomorrow, since I'm gonna de load next week, what should I do tomorrow?

Thanks for checking in man.

I think I'm close, but I'm not there yet.

If I were to max out on a competition bench and had a spotter I feel like I could get somewhat close right now, but I don't quite have 405 yet.

I'm closer than I was when I first made this thread though.

The program I'm on right now has my estimated 1 rep max at 375.

I would definitely like to give it a try, but only if I have someone spotting me.

Thanks man! I appreciate the support. :)

If I get a chance to do some singles I'll post them up.

Sometimes I post training videos in my training journal in the members journal section.
