I have to be honest and say I where Nike shocks in the gym. Only because they are the only sneakers I have. And for the record I squat 405 ass to the grass for 10-12 reps and legpress well over 10 plates, on each side but that all that will fit on my leg press.
I ha e work workboots in the past, but I've found it really doesn't make a huge difference for me. My form is perfect and I've gotten used to wearing them.
I've been told many times by some of the powerliftrlers at the gym to get flat bottom shoes, but I feel just fine in my shocks.
