Yeah great points. It’s funny you mentioned construction compared to colder climates. What I never understood is why the houses are not insulated in TX. It protects against heat loss, and sure as Sh*t protects the house and keeps it cooler in hotter months. Seems to me it’s not an expensive option especially since there are these hot and cold extremes now. Haha I can I def don’t miss the heat and humidity. But you are right, everyone needs a generator. Summer months, almost every day around 8 or 9 pm, the powers out for an hour so cut down on demand. I sure don’t miss it. Or the hail.
