what kind of gains do you anticipate with this? I have thought long and hard about putting a TRD blower on mine but I cant justify $6500 for 150 HP...

The ROUSH calibrations will add 210hp at the crank. I think it adds about 120-130 whp. The dynos people are posting are around 425whp. Unfortunately, these drive trains are really parasitic.

Blower finally installed. I did some before and after performance testing just to get an idea of how much of a difference this kit makes. Let me tell you something about these trucks. Your butt dyno doesn't tell the whole story! After first I was a little disappointed. It didn't pull as hard as I was expecting. Then I did a 0-60 and 60-80 pull and the results speak for themselves. I did SOFT launches, meaning, I didn't rev the RPMS before the launch. I just let go of the brakes and punched it. First pull was in 2WD and it launched ok. Post install, I had to do it in 4 wheel drive because it was just smokin the tires like a mofo.

0-60 before 7.6 seconds After 6.1 seconds
60-80 Before 5.7 seconds After 4.6 seconds

So, If I were to hard launch this, I would be in the 5 second range.

what about exhaust?

Stock so far. Not sure what I am going to do yet. Was thinking maybe Magnaflow, since it's a straight through design and not too expensive. This will be purely for sound for now, because I am not doing custom tuning yet, and mufflers won't make any difference in performance.

Dammit! So my wheel and tire set up won't clear with the stock height. Looks like I will be raising the front. I am hoping a 2" leveling kit is all I need. The tire is soooooo close to working. It barely grabs the inside lip of the fender as the wheel is being turned and tries to rip it off. it turned out to be a little more aggressive than I expected too. It sticks out about 2 inches when mounted.

There's a bunch of meat on those things shorts. Gonna lose a little power trying to turn em. Put em in and let them scrub.

I kept weight in mind. The wheels themselves are 5lbs lighter, and it picked up a couple or few lbs from the rubber, so I think it evened out quite nicely.

Just looked them up. They appear to be the same weight as the previous tires. I went from AT to all weather, which is why I didn't gain weight on tires.

As for exhaust... Not sure what the ford options are but Borla and Flowmaster make some nice bolt one that help it breath a little.

Can you do anything with a programmer now that you've added a blower to add some more sauce?
