No doubt I could not do what he did however if he did the pull ups with correct form and without swinging his body he might get 20-25. Nonetheless it had to burn pretty good when he was finished.

I think POB can do it :)

I agree with Admin, not really pullups but a great endurance effort..............lol
People crack me up with stuff like this as for the rest of his life he will CLAIM how many pullups he can do. sheesh
Given I cannot half ass that movement 55 times either:)

I've witnessed him max out.....6 was the most and that was at his lightest weight. But at least they weren't kippings or whatever crossfit term is for the pullups that this dude did. lol

Yes was cheating abit their mayb about 30 strict form! We had one chap in are gym who could do a strict one arm pull up.

There are "ninja warriors" (yes the tv show obstacle course) in japan that have done one armed pinky and index finger pullups

KK's back and grip strength are like no other. Don't forget he pulled 930+ @ 275 with no belt.

I used to be an avid rock climber taking trips all over the country and competing indoors the best I could do was 20 so that impressive no matter how shitty his form was

These are Crossfit "kips", not pullups. Once you get the form down, you realize how efficient this movement is, allowing you to do a ton of them. You can double your pullup number in most cases with this method. In other words, I could match his 55 reps, because I can do about 30 body weight pullups with strict form.
