Forgot to mention-

At the time of that pic (last week), I had only been working out for a week and a half LOL

I had emergency surgery on Christmas Eve (gallbladder removal), so I didnt lift since the week before my surgery to a week before the pic.

I benched 225 for the first time that week since the surgery...it went from 225x15 to 4 LOL
Yesterday I benched, and got 6 reps. Slowly but surely.

Yesterday I hit Back.

2/11 Back

Pull-ups (shoulder width) 5x12 (wide grip) 1x10, 1x8 (failure)

Lat pulldowns 6x8-10 100lbs

Bent Over BB Rows 4x10 135lbs

Standing Lat Bar Pullovers 4x8


Notes:
I have no way to lock my legs with pulldowns, but I'm able to pin my feet under my rack; I have to do pulldowns a specific way to hit lats.

This is why I don't use TOO MUCH weight-I use enough weight, keep great form with the way I have to do it, and kill my lats.

Since I have degenerated discs, I can only do 135-145lbs without killing l4,l5 and flaring upmmy sciatica and pain.

Still-its ALL about damaging/stimulating; I use enough weight and great form and my rhomboids+lats get toasted! I will increase the weight as I get stronger, too.

Pullovers can't be beat for a complete lats+serratus look..I love 'em.


Time for Arms tommorrow!
