figuring 70%. I cant wait to see your sheiko log bro. You will see some crazy differences 3 weeks in. You will see yourself repping weights for 6-8 that you could get 2-3. My squats the other day where 3 sec down and 3 up with a 2 sec pause at the bottom. Never did that before and well below par. just make sure you drink a shit load of water, wrapping knees and using a belt. it will tax your entire body. I have nose tort which is a smelling salt in a jar to use before some squats and after. great program and I will start again sunday. I just switched it up a little and added front squats on the days i hit 2 squat sessions to save on wrap time.

JB, I had the same conversation with a teammate of mine. He, too, was deloading and really felt almost demoralized about deloading. I said, "Shit, you realize that you are deloading more than most max effort at?" Something to hang your hat on. And deloads are necessary and your body will thank you over the long haul. Hell, next week or be here soon enough and you can torture your corpse some more! LOL.

Just to chime in with what hawkeye said there.
the numbers you are benching for paused reps are sick to be on a deload week.
My max bench of all time is only 260.
Great work.
I have this log marked as one to watch

Yeah I know hawk! If we aren't hard on ourselves we will never get better! Thanks LDH keep ur log up and u will see how much help u will get here getting your bench up! There is a lot of excercises u can do to help ur bench. Not too mention Many people can't get 260 up either.

Well deload is now complete and prep for Sunday has begun. I decided to go to hit the gym and try and max some stuff out. I really wish we had a gym local that had a mono lift or just cared about the local power lifter.

Squats

Stopped here since the walking back with that much weight is just a pain and potential accident. Now to the Bench,

Not secure in the spotter enough to keep going but I was pretty happy with the numbers. I know sheiko is working for me.

Didn’t hit deads today since I did them 2 days ago but I know they have gone up. Sunday will start round 2 and I will be substituting the second rounds of squats with either front squats or hack squats.

very impressive numbers indeed JB! im glad that the insanity of shieko actually worked! i cant imagine how depressing it would be to go through all that and not have gotten any stronger! :D

Thanks BI I wanted to pull today but just wasn't feeling it. Need the mono lift to really feel the squats the weight was good but the walking out was to dangerous feeling. Talking to halo today what do you think about bottom up squats?
