Re: Jay Cutler says he does NOT use steroids....
@hardcore2010
No, most of us would not tell everyone we know that we take steroids. That’s not what he is doing. He was asked and instead of avoiding the question or making sure they would not ask him about it he just flat out lies. None of us believe him because we all know better but the little guy at the gym trying hard to get big believes him. He also goes out and spends his life savings on Muscletech.
I was at the gym last year when a buddy of mine, ”Jeff” was getting ready to compete. He pulled off his shirt and at 5’6’’ and 230 pounds started to pose. This girl up front looked and said. “Wow, and all natural too.” I was blown away by the ignorance. Most people just don’t have a clue.
Let me tell you a little something about bodybuilding and mainstream acceptance. It has not been mainstream since the early 80’s and most likely never will be again. Why? For fucks sake look at these guys! Back in the day people wanted to look like Arnold. Who wants to be 300 pounds at 5’9’’ and a 45” gut when not flexed? This is a whole other thread in its self but bodybuilding aint going mainstream again anytime soon.
“He's the best of the best”
Hardly. Only because he had the look the judges were going for this year or last. Rarely do the best looking guys on stage win. Need I point out Shawn Ray, Kevin Levrone ect? Right now he is just one of the “lucky” few who can walk around at 300 pounds and not die.
