Is the HGH/slin stack really the holy grail of bodybuilding?

Mine is in my wrist flexors, brachio radius on both forearms, and the biceps bracialis. I wear velcro elbow sleeves on both arms, not for the elbows but it just so happens that the velcro straps land right on the spots that bother me. It helps me get a workout but when it comes off it throbs.

It's bad timing right in the middle of this log, but such is life. I'm a mechanic. I have to take care of my arms.

So day #2 of rest week. I basically slept the entire day yesterday only getting up to eat or post on the den. Wow, I needed that...

So you are up 14#s from the day you started, is it fat, water, or what thus far?

I'm up 11 or 12 lbs. I did break my bench PR but I would be foolish to think I have gained much muscle if any at all in 2 weeks. I'm calling it water, glycogen, and fat.

Weight is swinging wildly during this rest week. 182 this morning and 189 tonight. Eating pretty much whatever I want while still making sure to get enough whole food protein. My forearms still hurt in some positions but I'm going a bit stir crazy. Tomorrow is supposed to be my last rest day but I may go to the gym. Let's see how my arms feel at wok.

Hope you get your tendonitis under control bud. I had terrible tendonitis in both elbows, and it lasted months. I was able to cure it without stopping training, by using thymosin beta 4 (aka TB-500). There is a thread on TB-500 in this peptide section, where I outlined my protocol.

I run Humulin R 10iu's mid w/o and it has been best for me. The reason for this is Hum R is slow onset and I want it active by my post wo shake and following meals. SO I pin 10iu's about 45min before I finish my wo. 10 min later I sip on 30g dextrose/8g creatine/15g BCAAs. I have a ton more sugar on me, so when my wo's are longer I pop a couple glucose tabs. As soon as I finish I drink 70g whey with 30g dextrose again. 30-45 min later I eat 1.5cups of white rice with BBQ sauce and 7oz of cooked chicken. repeat 2hrs later!
Another important thing t remember is humulin R can stay active up to 8-10hrs so I only use it if I can wo in the morning or at latest by 1pm. Also medical literature suggests that diabetics on humulin R often don't feel signs of hypoglycemia as they do with other forms of insulin so be careful and for this reason Id rather overshoot my carbs

Thanks. I've been looking into humulin R simply because my novolog source was a one time thing. I have pleanty for now, but eventually I may have to switch. Thanks for the info.

I should also mention that Giant Slayer and I are friends. GS, I have toyed w/ the idea of slin....for the most part decided it was not for me.

However, I would like to learn more, can you point me to a good tutorial? Of course I will go look at the stickies but would also value your advice very much.

Also, it should be noted that I do plan on running HGH at some point.

Awesome compilation of parroted advice that every newbie grows up learning. GiantSlayer is no spring chicken, so while your advice is appreciated, you may need to come with some better material that's backed by logic and science.

Hey Doc :) I can't say that there was any one tutorial that helped me design my protocol. I've just been reading... and reading... I tried both the Novolog and gh on their own to see what each compound would feel like and how much I would need/tolerate.

I pin gh preworkout and log post in an attempt to peak them at the same time. From my reading gh peaks in 3 hours and log peaks in 1 hour. I read that the gh with carbs can create an igf1 burst. So basically I'm set up to take advantage of the post workout prime. The rest of the day I rely on indigenous slin/gh. I think most people would pin in the morning.

The dosage for slin is about as much as I can handle. At 10iu I go a bit crosseyed reading posts on the iron den. The dosage for gh... I can't afford much more than this. Besides, at 3iu I'm having side effects.

I ws planning on cruising @ 250 sus/week but I really want to give this protocol a fighting chance. I chose to stay @ 500/week because I know I can grow on that.

The T4.... I'm thinking about removing it. This I added mainly because most people say you should. Supposedly gh has an adverse effect on thyroid but I' not going to be a long term user of gh so, I don't know.

Doc, if you dn't fuk up the dosage, and you always have someone know whats going on, then slin is not gonna kill you.

** But if you venture into the woods without a compass and don't tell anyone where you're going, you may be in trouble.
