Well, I get my soft tissue genetics from my Dad. It isn't a mobility or flexibility issue, but it's rather plastic and just tears :mad: . I had my first tear at the ripe old age of 15 during football practice .This last shld surgery made it my 9th overall. I've easily had +35 tears, including a ruptured right groin (adductor). If you want the biggest balls of them all, that will get you there. That is where all the blood pooled. Elephantiasis of the balls. I did it on leg press, which I was doing because I tore my quad tendon for the 2nd time 6th months before. I still went to a red themed lingerie party about a week later at a nightclub - no way I was going to miss chicks in lingerie! About 5 tears still bother me, for no apparent reason at all. As far as the left shld:
1st = debridement of rotator (supra and subscap) Fall 98
2nd = slap repair Nov 2010
3rd = rotator repair (supra) and biceps tenodesis Sept 2019
4th = rotator repair (subscap and supra/infra margin) March 2025

Funny thing was around 2008 2 mods from AF lived near and they were always talking about wrapping me up in bubble wrap. I was sure one day they were going to show up with some :D.

I know the thread is dated some, but I had my inguinal surgery last year. I went back to work after 4 weeks and probably should have waited another month.
My doctor told me that I could return the next day and he’s full of poop. That was my first surgery and horrible for me.
I went in for 2 hernias, left and right sides, and come out having 3 fixed. They found another one after they opened me up. 2 large and 1 extra large.
I still have times where I’m hurting from it, and I honestly blame my lack of stretching on it. I feel like doing yoga a few times a week is probably the bet but at the same time, it’s hard to actually get the time to do it.
I’m nervous about doing deadlifts and squats still personally, my biggest roadblock is the mental side of things, but my buddy used one of those belts prior to his surgery and it helped him tremendously, I don’t know how much it would help after though
