Friday's workout:

Small shoulders, nothing crazy, 30 mins, a bunch of abs and some 20 stadiums up/20 down

No big presses, kept the DB under 60's to get a decent pump with minimal time.

Worked out at my future gym with POB yesterday and haven't been on to update the log. So we squatted and did some bench pressing afterward

55lb bar

425 x 1 PR
325 x I think 6 but can't remember

Tried one set of reverse band squats for the first time. we loaded up 465, I got it up quick

Squat only update:
For the 425 PR, I held form well but on other sets, I had a problem keeping my chest up and ass down....caused me to bow. Surprisingly, the PR and the reverse band were my best reps of the day. Real happy with the PR, it went up pretty smooth and speed didn't appear to be an issue on lower weight sets.

Now for pressing (****, I'm weak here)

275 missed, got out of the hole but couldn't get out of the top of it so we did some board press work:

reverse band 315 x 5 (first time trying this)\

elbow is still bothering me but was real happy with the squat PR....lot's of work needs to be done on bench, i may increase the frequency to focus more on my form and keeping tight.

Starting SST this week, really looking forward to it.

haha..Ya, that was my choice....POB was happy about the 415 and I was like "what, that sucked I did 405 x 2 before" lol......but I told him I wanted 4 and a q....got it on video, depth was good and the rep was better than others for form. Now that I'm starting a new program, I figure to see 470-480 within a couple months. My lifts have been jumping as I'm still new to this shit....untapped resources if you ask me! lol.

I love squatting and pulling lately......fckin hate benching but I need 300 for the competition or I'll get laughed at.

If you keep floor pressing and working in reverse bands you'll get that bench up. You're weak ON the chest. But your lockout is plenty strong.

The floor pressing is something that I need to implement more.....err in general. We'll have to make it a point to get in at least twice/month (once I'm up there) as nobody down where I am (for now) has any bands and I can't make any purchases til the end of the month when my new EBT card comes in.

You need 3 white lights or it doesn't count....not 2! And vids to prove the lift.....
