322lbs. Down from 363lbs, January 1st.

Calorie deprived during the week. I hate feeling weak. Used to be able to push 390lbs on the Nautilus Leverage Chest press machine 12 or 13 times. Down to 7 today. Pants are looser but losing strength really sucks. Rows are down, too. Legs are weaker.

A couple of early 20's kids were saying it is decent, still. But it only seems decent to them because they are starting from nothing. :(

Feel lighter on my feet though. That is nice.

Getting back to this shape is the audacious goal. Probably won't happen. It took too much work. But this is the goal. This was about 260lbs in 2015-2016.

What ergos are you using? Any GH or just testosterone? You may want to look at using retatrutide at microdoses it's pretty healthy meaning great anti inflammatory effects and positive effects on kidney function. It did jack shit for my appetite but pretty much morphed with fat loss and vascularity etc. No muscle loss either.

Just test, bro.. In the past I used T3 with great results. But ran into complications last time.

What about DHP? I've never used it. But I've read through threads here it some love it.

Going backwards , weight wise. Strong , but heavy. Got down to 310lbs at one point, felt light on my feet. But the restricted calorie diet was causing my lifts to fall. Losing reps on pull downs, rows, benches, shrugs makes me feel like a pussy. Hard to accept mentally. I'm 54, shouldn't be thinking like this.

Currently at 373lbs. Two weeks ago pushed 465lbs on a loaded chest press machine, twice.. Not the real thing though. Today was my first opportunity in a long time to try a standard flat bench again (two trusted spotters nearby, not dumbass kids but actual old lifters who know how to fucking spot). Fuck, the machines don't tell the real story. 465lbs twice on a machine vs 320lbs on a flat bench was only able to push it 6 times. Kind of shocked me. My shoulders felt strained the whole time. Back stung. Even my neck hurt. The fear of imbalance took over, too. But mainly the strain on all those little unused (as of lately) ancillary muscles. Think I aggravated my mid-back stenosis, too. May go in for a shot to quell it.

My main issue is with learning to live with something. be fat and strong and die younger OR be fit and live longer. Got to choose soon.

Admission, I don't think I even got the last rep, honestly. The sixth.. Weight stopped. After a two-three seconds I got some assistance. Ugh.

Felt great today. Chest/tris day. Pyramided up to 475lbs on the loaded chest press. 2 reps of 475lbs. I struggled on the 2nd but got it fair and square. Not bad for a fat 54yr old. (currently at 368lbs)

Dropped down to 385lbs. Got 9 or 10. Lost my count to know exactly. Another set of 385lbs got 6. Dropped down to 295lbs, repped out about 10.

Switched to flys. Been lifting heavy as usual (usually on the chest press) then switching to flys and burning, burning, burning the pecs. After flys I start my weighting punching with the flys machine. Since there is no punching bag yet at the new gym I'm using the flys machine to add resistance to punches.

Finished with pull downs (4 sets) and dips (2 sets machine dips).

Back / biceps tomorrow. Legs Friday. Been a good week.

What is your diet like at this time?

Diet is the weakness. Always. Over the last 20+ years I go from eating clean and being lean to eating everything and being like I am now. I do eat a lot of good food, chicken, veggies and such. But I follow it with garbage.

It is my Achilles heel. Mood disorders = eating, for me.
