When I ripped mine off, it was weeks before I could even press a bar, a couple months before a push-up, just over 6 months before 225. Sitting at 18 months now and 315 x 5 has been best set....down from 455 x 3.
Another lowlight 225x4 or 5 cant remember bent over barbell rows, had to pull like a motherfucker but they all came up, no failure. Bw 248.2 gym shorts undies t shirt socks. Lost alot of fatass, but looking pretty small and deflated.
Just enjoy the slow and steady gains. Things will come back with time. I just entered my third week of lifting and barely got 135 x 12 x 4... it sucked at first, feeling winded and arms burning, but an old head came up and reminded me I was only using 25's with shit form the last time he saw me (a few weeks ago)
