Good stuff.
No I've never actually tried assisted pull ups. There was some shit going on at the gym today so I just worked out with bands in my basement. I took the bands around a post and did rows.

225x12 straight weight. I feel like I get much better glute activation on this excersise. I mustve been flopping around when I was trying to go heavy before. I'm gonna work and see how this does bringing up my raw squat. 225 felt so light and easy after this. Usually feels like a sack of bricks. Almost passed out on 12th rep. I was surprised I was able to pull through and get it.

All in all I think Reverse band squatting is gonna be the cats ass for a while I felt like I had more in the tank, got excellent muscle activation, and blasted through my sticking point which is in the middle of the squat. Don't know what the carry over at the bottom was. I'm guessing around 95 pounds because the first set going down, right at the bottom I felt like I had to take the bar with me the last few inches. Anyhoos great workout.

I hadnt done them in so long, I couldnt believe how good I felt doing them, even as the weights got heavier I just felt tighter and got much better muscle activation.

I used to do them ALL the time and it was a HUGE help in me getting my squats where they are.

I'm having to use chains now b/c at the moment my gym has gotten rid of some equipment but luckily I have over 100lbs in chain so I'll be using them now. I'm eager to see if I like chain work as much as I like reverse band work. I know the chains will help with stabilization but I'll have to wait to and see if it works as well when overloading.

Lemme know how it works I'll keep following your log. I love my chains. Ive been stuck at the same bench stuff for a couple weeks I'm gonna do a 5 day reload. 2 speed sessions squat and bench.

I had been using chains on a lot of my assistance lifts and I liked them a lot. I just wish I had a 3rd set of big chains. The wife is training with me and she's enjoying using chains now so we have to share them.

225x4 or 5 felt really light and explosive. I'm now realizing how much of a piece of shit this Bench really is.

Speed work 175 30 lbs chains
All kinds of variations with bands reps chains and straight weight. Just for speed.
Pin Press:
Absolutely blew my shoulders and titties out with this. I moved the pins to almost touch my chest now. Less than 1 inch.

Doing this as a main lift was different but I felt it was good.

Floor Press.
225x11 (wanted 20 but Fuck that pin press blew them titties out)
235x7... + immediate unrack and press again for 1 to make 8
Standing Terrys:

135x fuck this my shoulders are gone at this point.

I learned pin press is awful hard when set at the right height. That's All Folks!!

DK wtf I think I need some off days. Still reeling from squat day.
The interesting part is I was amping myself up getting ready George Leeman style and pulled the weight up 2 inches off the floor then got into dl position and fucking bombed. Won't try that again.

Bomb of a bench workout. Idk WTF I'm all ears:

225x16... Hoping for 20 Tris are exhausting at the top part of the lift. Exploding off the chest...

Floor Press:
225 w chains x5 deep pause

255 chainz sling shotted up... These 5 reps felt awful. This sling shot doesnt help much at all. Then again I have no issues down low its all lockout.

DB Incline Press:
105x4 last rep was a struggle
60x20 same

Idk but my bench isnt moving a Damn inch.
