I think you can bulk or cut based on your diet more than the compounds. Sure, it's hard to imagine cutting on deca, but test is test, IMO, and 500mg/wk, pinned 2x/wk, can be a great bulk cycle or a cutting cycle based on your diet.
I'd think about how much weight you wanna gain on the bulk, and set up a diet to help you achieve that goal, then take 500mg/wk test with 30mg dbol/day for the first four weeks. You'll be very happy if you put both the training, compounds and diet together.
