20wks out from Team Universe: Kris going hard for the Card.

    5' 147lbs. We just began her cutting diet and Cardio sessions (30mins 4x wk). Probably come in around 120-125lbs this year. I'm going to try to keep weekly updates and progress pics within this thread up until show day.

    5' 144lbs @ 19wks out. Posterior Chain and Traps were a weakness last year so we've heavily emphasized GHRs, Standing Leg Curls and Rack Deads. Glutes responded well and thickness in the Upper Back is apparent. Peeling back the off-season weight, I'm seeing a good mass accrual. I just hope the places I assumed were already there held up.

    5'7" 204lbs 25wks out (maybe) Had to get my minute of fame too :)

    Roughly 12wks out so now she's more comfortable with pictures and vids ;) Sitting at 131lbs this a.m. with bodyfat essentially gone from torso/arms. Glute/Ham tie-ins are always the last to go but I think we'll hit the stage around 120-125lbs after carbing her up.

    Leg Day today:

    Front Squats: 12x95/ 10x 135/ 8 x 155 x 3sets
    High Wide Leg Press: 12x 6plates/ 12x 8plates/ 12x 10plates/ 12x 12plates/ 12x 14plates/ 12x 16plates/ 12x 18plates
    then reverse back down with
    PliƩ Presses (toes out/heels touching): 12 x ......
    Alternating Standing Leg Curls: 10x 45lbs x 4sets
    Donkey Calf Raises: 15 x Stack (300lbs) x 4sets
    100 Rep Leg Ext:
    60lbs x 20/20/15/15/10/10/15/10/5 Keep knees flexed at rest to build up Lactic acid

    Finish with a little torture I came up with. Hip Thrusters 15 x 160lbs ss with Hanging Leg Raises x 15(ish)

    Those hip thrusters make my back hurt just watching.

    Your lucky you get along with your girl good enough to train together.I don't want to spend one minute in the gym with mine,that's how i get away from her.lol

    Aside from Glute Ham Tie-ins, Lats were a weak spot last season. This winter was heavy width training for Kris which she seems to have responded to well.

    Good stuff , I train with my wife too she's a former NABBA figure and EFBB figure / fitness competitor .
