Currently cutting, started at 241, sitting at 219 today. I started the diet with a heavy fast (20/4), and heavy deficit. I started January 19, and by feb 21 I was 222. I like the quick loss to keep motivation going but decided 20ish pounds at that routine was enough since I was starting to worry about muscle loss. So I switched gears late February, started eating 5 meals a day (1 of those is just whey), and really softening up the deficit. Basically went from 1700ish cals a day up to about 2700. That’s still a deficit as I’m 6’4. Because of this my weight went up after switching gears and I was fine with that. I am now back to losing, slowly. My waist is shrinking, strength is way up, basically it’s going well.
This week I added 1mg Reta and 2.5mg mots (I will be bringing that up to 5 twice a week and the Reta will move to 2 in another week), the plan is to see what I can accomplish in the next 6 weeks. I eat the exact same food every day, with the exception of once a week I only focus on protein and the rest of the foods are a bit more reckless. My current macros are about 240g protein, 200g carb, 50ish fat.
Aside from taking away my “cheat” day, any suggestions on what I should change? I lift heavy 5 days a week, cardio is 30 mins, 4-6 days a week.

Cocaine? Lower carbs raise protein, carb cycle? I suck at dieting so ignore me lol
I mean…im not against it lol. I did see that Mitchell Hooper includes adderall in his stack so maybe you’re on to something…

You sound like you're making steady progress. Perhaps you should just stay the course, and see how it plays out over the next 8 weeks.
I’m certainly not opposed to that either. If my macros seem good to you all then I’ll keep on rollin

Lower carbs and increase plant fat (coconut oil or milk avocado, raw nuts) and increase fiber.. that usually works for me.

The reta should help a lot. Just give it time. People have different tolerances to it. If you don't see results after a month on 2mg raise it.

It will make it easier to maintain your diet. If you lose your appetite, just focus on getting your protein in.

S30W,

I think there's nothing broke brother so don't fix it. You're getting in plenty of protein too. Like mentioned, give the Reta time. At 1mg you're just introducing it to your body. Like @Cohiba said, give it a month and bump it up to 2mg. You'll notice something then.

I appreciate all the feedback and will stay the course. Next week I’ll up the Reta to 2mg, I am feeling the appetite suppression already though. I had a very hard time getting my last meal in last night, and it’s the same food I’ve been eating for weeks. And on Sunday I loosened the diet up a little and had some candy, that made me sick (that NEVER happens). I’m going to bump the mots up to 5mg this Friday, that shit sucks injecting. Not a fan of the burn at the injection site for the next hour but whatever. Besides cleaning up my cheat day, I will stay the course.

Stop eating sugar. Thats it. I don't count calories, weigh my food, no cardio. Just stop eating fruit, veg, bread, etc. Eat meat, eggs, fat. Poof, instantly lean. Its really that simple but ppl like to over complicate shit. By the way, I eat as much as I want. 2,000 calories or 5,000. Doesn't matter same result.

This is the way. Once I went carnivore over a year ago and cut out all the veggies and carbs along with sugar. Just ate beef, eggs, bacon. Never counted any calories and weight/fat just melted off. Was the leanest I’ve been in many years even at 47.
