I enjoy lifting and trying to stay in some kind of shape. Although that is getting harder as I'm getting older. I do enjoy the grind....

like a lot of lifters, I use bodybuilding, powerlifting and strongman exercises in my workouts. usually train four nights a week doing something for each. my main goal now is to get stronger but with a lean muscular look. I compete so my training will be geared towards whatever the next competition is. the next one is a strongman but its five months away.

Flex, you don't have to be strong to be a powerlifter. If you love getting stronger, especially at the big three, AND you have competed, AND YOU ARE DEFINITELY STRONG, then you more than qualify to call yourself a powerlifter.

I'm just a guy who lifts weights but now that I'm 50 I want to compete in Bodybuilding. My training and nutrition are on track right now with a discipline I have never had in this aspect of my life.

I do crossfit and weightlifting but I think of myself as a regular guy that wants to be jacked, strong and athletic.
I don't feel I'm there at all so I just keep pushing forward.
