Ha, ha, I never really answered the question. I believe it's a combination of lactic acid and the sheer volume of blood being pumped into them by the lower reps.

I just realized I put lower reps instead of higher reps. My mistake on the response. Higher reps also give me a faster pump.

I do a lot of mixing things up and partials are in the mix.Hey / I have been utilizing some concepts and reading some new actual research pm if you are intersted I'll send some ebooks - I been doing some what lower Rep straight but then either do partials through what is called a " sweet spot" then grab lighter weight - recent studies confirm hyperplasia is possible meaning we can increase size though differences of performing Reps no matter what system we use. Fascinating stuff . That goes for any my tid bros. Just wanting to share a treasure
