What do you guys eat pre-workout?

i train at 530 in afternoon so at 3 whole food meal no carbs right now as i am dieting then at 430 1 scoop of whey 1 scoop vitargo , 1 scoop of bcaa , i have the same thing post except i take in 2 scoops whey .... will be switching my whey over to brown rice protein as i get closer to show

3hours pre workout :rice/pasta and meat+some fats
30min pre workout:30g carbs and 10g bcaa(shake)

I eat a dozen egg whites and a cup of oats (i love breakfast!) about an hour before I lift... I like the idea of having food energy in me, but to have a meal in my belly when I'm lifting actually makes me sick and lethargic. Some of my friends like a waxy maize with some whey pre workout. They say the waxy maize gives them good clean sustained energy that feels natural unlike the stimmed pre workout formulas.

I eat oatmeal cereal, shake, toast, and an apple before I lift. Than during my workout I drink a 1/2 strength powerade throughout.
