Before I posted this thread I wanted to search youtube for dead lift tutorials, and I found some. But I'm not sure what videos advice to take.

POB, you mentioned that I SHOULDN'T arch my back during dead lift. Then I was watching a video just now where the guy specifically stated TO arch your back. (Not arguing, this is why I wanna make this thread. To get the technique right).

So before I go and watch a bunch of videos, I was wondering if and girls and guys have videos they recommend.

Thanks.

In my opinion rounding your back allows you to pull more BUT! by leveraging your body and doing straight leg you are going to hurt yourself... By pulling your shoulder blades back you are in engaging your delt and lats more in the lift... Sort of like on a bench press... Arching is very important but over emphasis can cause your hips to be to low giving you more of a squat than a dead... I have learned that there are many ways to skin a cat... Especially depending on your type of build and your goals
