I get up at 4:30 ,hit the gym at 5;30-6 for an hour . Get to work at 7:15 . Put in a 12-14 hour days 6-7 days a week . Been doing it foe 3 yrs now in a row.
It seems like if I get to the gym at the end of the day then Im whooped and worthless. At 55 Im trying to push myself more then ever . The end results are awesome. Its all about discipline . I also end the day with a recovery meeting to keep me grounded and humble .

I can relate to trying to train after long shifts. I'm usually spent mentally and physically. Just need to get my ass up. The 4 am alarm seems to be put on snooze a bit too much. LOL.

For me it really depended on the shift. If I worked a normal work schedule I preferred to workout before work. If I worked the night shift, I always liked working out right after work. It was the perfect time. There were only like 5 of us in the gym.
