Still been squatting 3x a week. Got that 240 10x3 pretty easy, last 3 days were:

Tuesday 5x7 225, friday 7x5 240, Sunday 10x3 255

Will add 10 lbs to all those this week and then an easy week.
I believe my body responds better to volume/frequency as unlike many of the
beasts on here and the fellas I compete with, I have a background in endurance
sports and have generally been long and lean. At 6'2" 235, I look pretty small.

I want to do a strongman comp but don't feel I will be ready to do one until I can squat 2x my bodyweight. I'd like to do a powerlifting meet too but don't wanna
pay the entry and buy a singlet, ends up being 100$ for 9 lifts. I do highland
games and there's one more I'll do this year, but am not really practicing because I want to work on my squat.

Strongman looks fun.

Do you read the "T-nation Weekly Dose"? If not you should check out this weeks
article by Dan John, I really like that guy and we could all learn so much from that guy. I'm rooting for ya in your squat comp on here. I think it's a great idea.

I have managed to do three Highland games this year .It is a whole different ball game than strongman. I will look at the weekly does article.Thankyou

9/27 in the morning after I get off work tonight:
Squat 10x3 265
Glute bridge 225x12 275x8 300x8
Good morning 135 5x5 I know this is light but I'm really trying to get the stretch
and my low backs usually tired after the glute bridges. Normally do about 185-195 for sets of 5. Hamstrings are so tight.

Nice job weed. Don worry about the goodmornings 135 isn't lite. That is a tender muscle and a good full stretch is a good thing. I can shrug slot but I would rather use 225 and squeeze at the top hard to userhe muscle more. It's all how u lift not always the weight.
