Did no more work this last week. Been way too busy trying to fix my truck and get it to where it can stop when we want it too :D

That and I rolled an ankle Friday morning and it has hurt to flex the ankle a lot.

Did some benchpress Monday. Did some squats and overhead press today. Will do some bodybuilding stuff on Friday. It has been a good training week but I have not really been pushing it too hard. This is a kind of deload week on the Mag/Ort program, no deads, so I backed off a little. It would not have counted as a deload on any routine I have ever followed lol.

Back to the grind. I decided that deads get their own damn day. It is, in part, to motivate me to put everything into the pulls and, in part, due to the ramping up in weight each week is going to be brutal.

This was a repeat of week 3 cause that is just how this works lol. Adding ten pounds to all sets and trying this again next week. The only difficult to complete set was the 420x9, it seems like it takes forever to get through it.

Not bad. I will back off the heavier singles. I wanted to see what I could get a pause with. It was not really a strong pause so I will work this back up. I also need to concentrate on stopping at the top like I would while waiting for a rack command.

BI, I think it might be. 355 is my best bench but I cannot recall what the best paused rep has been so far. 345 might be a good call on that though lol.


Sorry I havent been round this weekend or mot of this last week. I did a lot of front squatting and goodmornings on Thursday, overhead presses, shoulder, and upper back work on Friday, and not much else this week. I have videos of some of the overhead work. Nothing new, just me doing a more of it!

Alright, we are just gonna ignore everything in the last ten days. It was a few workouts not worth mentioning. I have been exhausted and weak as fuk and it showed. So I took the last 4 days off from work and working out lol. I have decided to drop the Ortmeyer routine. I cannot keep up right now.... hell without some kind of chemical assistance or sandbagging the working numbers, I do not think I would ever be able to keep up.

Also, Wednesday I went to the doctor about the knee thing. He poked, prodded, and squeezed.... and then he took a look at the knee :D lol seriously, after he did everything imaginable to my knee, he simply told me to take it easy on the knee for a while. He said it sounded like it was overused and under-recovered. He also suggested I drop about 20 pounds and get back under 200.... not sure about that but I am thinking I need to cut some extra flubber off.

Did squat and goodmornings Friday. I cannot find my notebook right now, but I did not go above 315x5 on squats and I think my top set of GMs was 225x12

The rest of it was ab work like crunches and knee raises.
