So when I don't have a spotter for forced reps or negatives I've been thinking about starting heavy and stripping weight until burn out. My last cycle I don't think I was tearing enough muscle fiber so I'm thinking about maximizing muscle tear down. After a warm up let's say I start with 5 reps to failure and then keep lowering the weight until I have a burning pump. This obviously would work better on machines so you can just change the pin real quick and keep going. Just wondering if anyone else has done this and if it makes sense.
