I won't lie. I'm feeling "small" at my present weight.
You don’t look small. I completely understand though. I just wanna maintain 12-15%. I’m around 18ish now and I really am struggling with the idea of getting smaller. Everyday my head tells me to just bulk and cut later lol.

I "feel" smaller, and according to a tape measure, that's probably true, but the comments I get in the gym are the opposite. Guys are saying I'm looking huge, when in fact, I'm just not carrying around a layer of fat. So the delts and chest are striated, my quads have detail and vascularity, etc.

Plus, face it, as we get older, we're all better off walking around with less bodyfat, both for health and simply quality of life.

Pics taken 11/16/25. Weight is at 205, so gained a pound this past week. Don't feel like I've gained any fat, so I'm guessing just a little more full with muscle glycogen. Tried a new ab pose, and I still don't like it. The loose skin on the lower abs is not a good look. It's going to take time. May just do a most muscular shot going forward to cover the crappy abs. LOL I'm happy with how things are looking from the back. Front double bi still needs work. I look better when I practice that in front of a mirror. Don't know why I can't seem to reproduce it in pics. LOL

The last 5 or so pounds are always way tougher than the first 5 or so pounds, aren't they? LOL

My coach gave me some helpful suggestions on my posing. I really need to put some effort into that. Just seems kinds weird looking at myself in a mirror in my underwear.... LOL

My days of living at 15-20%BF are behind me, hopefully. With the heart issue I had, and my age, I really don't see any reason I should be carrying unnecessary weight. Now, lean mass is NOT unnecessary weight, so if I can put on 10-15 pounds of lean tissue over the next several years, that will be fine!

Everyone has loose skin at your age when they lean out. Even if you only had to drop 20 lbs of fat, that skin has been stretched for a long, long time. Like a rubber band in the freezer. A little bit comes back, but the leaner you get the more you will have.

When you get on stage, because you will. I have all the faith in your coach talking you into it. You are going to look left and right and everyone is going to have the same issue. If they don't, it is because they had it cut out. Just had a client get their extra skin removed last week and my wife is getting hers done a couple months after the holidays when we do a hard push to get as much skin available as possible. It is far more common in bodybuilding than most people think. Just make sure if you get some skin removed to have them remove any fat they see as well.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess it's nice to know I'm not an island when it comes to the loose skin. Just new for me (then again, haven't leaned up this much in an awful long time). Coach told me to order some posing trunks for future pics so he can see whether I'm leaning out in the glutes. I'm guessing that will be the last place to shed the fat. I still feel like I've got a solid 5-10 pounds of fat I can lose.

Awesome progress. Got me more motivated to lose the extra 8-10% bodyfat that I’ve been hoarding for the past couple years.

I also had some little health issues over the past year, ended up having to wear a heart monitor for 2 weeks due to irregular heartbeats and shit. That got a fire lit under my ass to worry less about size and more about overall longevity. Keep up the good work man.. that’s huge
