Figured I would throw this up. Might help keep me focused. Getting ready for a meet in 4.5 weeks. Been dealing with some hip issues for a few months now so my squat has taken a beating. I have squatted maybe 3 times in the last 2 months, and will be lucky if I can squat one more time before the meet :(. Best squat was 633 raw with wraps at 198, making a move to full raw so we will see. Hope by some miracle I can muster a 584.2

Monday Squat day:

Competition squat(sleeves):

315 x 1
405 x 1
455 x 2
480 x 2
515 x 2

SSB Squat:
415 x 3
415 x 3
415 x 3

Done. Gotta baby the hip.

Do you pull conventional or sumo? If it's sumo... with the hip issue will you switch to conventional?

Yea. It is really only bad in the hole on squat. I think it is a few issues compounded honestly. It got way worse once I ditched knee wraps as I think the stopping/reversal power they provided alleviated some of the stress on my tfl/hips.
Do you pull conventional or sumo? If it's sumo... with the hip issue will you switch to conventional?

I pull conventional, like god intended..:)

If you weren't peaking, I'd suggest wearing power briefs until you heal.

Pretty amazing squat session, considering all the time off. Best of luck.

I would like to go 584 Squat/ 430+ bench / 660+ deadlift. In a perfect, fantasy world, go 600 squat, 700 dead..lol But that is LOFTY.

Last meet I went 633/418/633(locked out 644 but hitched) So I think bench and DL should be doable. Squat, I don't know..haha
