295 for 9 on bench?! Fuxking right!

And you know what's dethroned pop tarts in my household? Chocolate cookies and cream ice cream... I'm pretty sure Jesus and Buddha collaborated on that one.

Still trying out this new bench technique... seems to be decent. Shoulder hurts a little less like this and the weight is moving faster. Been so long since I could bench heavy though so I am building back up.

Worked up in 7's to 295lbs for a top set at 9... missed half of the last rep so overshot a bit. Still happy tho.

Suspended good mornings with camber bah
Worked up in sets of 5 to 275ish (might have been more but don't know the bah weigh) for an 8.

KP surprised me when he did the same weight for 5 @ 9... shocked actually

that bench looked good weight was flying up with awesome speed, you had that last rep lats came loss for a spilt second

If you need a plan or coach for the cookies and milk thing, I'm your guy. Included are cookies total, 1smc percentages (1 sitting max cookie) and a spread sheet. I have a specific brand of cookies I'd like you to do, but will leave it up to you if you can't decide, then fine tune it once you get dialed in.

What did you change with your press?

Less tuck of the elbows mostly. I don't pinch my shoulders back as hard either. Tight traps as always and flare my lats out hard. The bar is coming off my chest a lot faster.

It seems to bother my ac joint that's all junked up a lot less. In fact I am 99% sure now that it's some kind of subluxation as the pain is intermittent and I can sort of jam it back into place.
